Not only are these Churro Waffle Bites absolutely delicious, they are a great high protein alternative to store bought waffle mix. A focus on modern performance does not mean that you have to sacrifice delicious foods and the occasional sweet treat. These waffle bites are packed with protein and carbs, making them the perfect precursor to a gnarly Saturday training session.  Plus, they're super easy to make!

  • 1/2 Cup Rolled Oats
  • 1 Large Whole Egg
  • 2 Large Egg Whites (~1/3 Cup)
  • 1/2 Cup Nonfat Greek Yogurt
  • 1 Scoop Churro Whey
  • 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Vanilla Extract *Optional*
  • 4 Tbs Stevia (topping)
  • 1 Tsp Cinnamon (topping)
  • Coconut Oil (topping)
  • Calorie Free Syrup or Caramel Sauce (topping) *Optional*

1. Mix together stevia and cinnamon in a bowl and set aside

2. Blend all waffle ingredients together in blender until smooth (about 30 seconds)

3. Cook in preheated waffle maker (makes 2 large Belgian waffles)

4. Brush with coconut oil and coat in cinnamon sugar mixture

5. Top with calorie-free syrup or caramel sauce if you choose
